Anti-infective evasion and pharmacoepidemiology

Our research activities focus on adverse and paradoxical events of therapeutic products:

• The development of the epidemiology of health products, including drugs and medical devices. The emphasis is on medications with a strong public health impact (antibiotics, vaccines), and on any products largely used in population and/or suspected to be responsible of severe adverse effects.
• The study of the effects of population exposure to antibiotics and vaccines on infectious risk, bacterial resistance to antibiotics, and vaccine evasion, both in the community and in hospitals.
